Privacy Policy
Effective 14 July 2026
FLARA is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.
Who we are
FLARA operates the non-custodial exchange at flara.de.com. The service has not launched yet; today this site is informational only. Before we begin processing exchanges we will publish the full operating entity, its registration number and jurisdiction in this section.
For any privacy question you can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not request your name, address, date of birth or identity documents for crypto-to-crypto swaps. What we do process falls into three narrow buckets:
- Transaction data — the wallet addresses, asset pair and amounts needed to actually execute a swap. This is inherently public on the blockchain.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and timestamps, logged automatically by our servers for security and abuse prevention.
- Anything you send us voluntarily — for example the contents of a support message you write to us on Telegram or by email.
What we do not collect
We never ask for and never store your private keys, seed phrase or wallet passwords. No one from our team will ever request them. Anyone who does is impersonating us.
We do not collect payment card data, because we do not process card payments. If fiat rails launch in a future phase, this policy will be updated before they go live.
Why we process it
Transaction data is processed because it is strictly necessary to perform the swap you asked for — without a destination address there is nothing to send. Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available. Support messages are processed to answer you.
We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell, rent or trade personal data to anyone. Ever.
How long we keep it
Transaction records are retained for as long as we are legally required to keep them, and no longer. Server logs are rotated within 30 days unless they are part of an active security investigation. Support conversations are deleted once the issue is closed.
Who we share it with
We share data with third parties only in two situations: with the infrastructure providers who host and protect the site, strictly to the extent they need it to provide that service; and where a valid legal order compels us to.
Public market quotes shown in the calculator are fetched from a third-party price feed (CoinGecko). That request is made by your browser, so the price provider can see your IP address.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase the personal data we hold about you, and to object to our processing of it. Because we hold so little, these requests are usually simple to satisfy.
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Note that data already written to a public blockchain cannot be erased by us or by anyone else — that is a property of the technology, not a choice we made.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, announce it in our Telegram channel before the change takes effect.
